If a payday falls on Saturday then employees will be paid on the previous business day. Whereas, they will be paid on the next business day when payday falls on a Sunday.
Also, if the payday coincides with a federal holiday, you may choose to pay your employees either before or after those dates. To learn how to set this preference, click here.
